If my wardrobe was an assortment of pick 'n' mix sweets, my final choices would be a good mixture of leather, blouses with weird patterns and a trail of gold jewellery. Not everything will complement each other or go hand in hand; there will be an explosion of textures and a chaos with prints and it'll make me happy.
Nothing will say that I'm a dog person more than a silk-like blouse with Jack Russells adorned all over it. I love a good charming print and I love that it's always a conversation starter. The overabundance of fabric is balanced out with these biker-style faux leather trousers. This is my new favourite thing to wear and prancing around London with them on makes me feel like a secret spy. I even have 'spy music' on my phone to listen to whilst I'm feelin' particularly dangerous during my travels but that's a story for another time.
The sport wedges? Oh my - I've finally found a pair of heeled footwear that can be worn for the course of a whole day with no blisters or sore feet to report afterwards. They were sent over to me by the lovely people in Shoe Zone and I honestly couldn't be happier with them. They're extremely light in weight and it's nice to not feel heavy footed when walking in them. I initially labelled Shoe Zone as a budget shop from my secondary school days and didn't give them a moment's thought as a 21-year-old but things have certainly changed! If you want to experiment with a particular shoe style but didn't want to splash out on higher end options, give these guys a try to try out the comfort and wardrobe options with them before you splurge.
That's all from me but before I go, if the words 'healthy carrot cake porridge' interests you, I posted the recipe to it over on my food blog. You can find the post here!
